Raging Taurus Dark Cross Industries	Posted - 2009.02.19 21:55:00 - [1] Edited by: Raging Taurus on 19/02/2009 22:00:10 Hi everyone Following the freighter services I offered a few months ago (Courier Services and Freighter rental) and which I had to suspend due to some temporary RL issues, I am now offering similar services with a Jump Freighter. Jump Freighter Service Do you need to move your personal, corp's or alliance's stuff in or out of lowsec or nullsec, or move your POS mods to a station close to the moon you desire? look no further - we'll do that for you (deliveries done to / from NPC stations only). Freighter Type: Rhea Maximum Jump Range: 10LY (skills 4/4/4) Maximum Cargo Space: 350,000 m3 Cost Per Jump: 25 Million (low sec) 30 Million (0.0) The fees cover the cyno ship and clone which usually gets destroyed by hostiles, jump fuel, my time, and of course the risks involved with jumping a 4.5 billion isk freighter amongst hostiles. Procedure Straight forward contracts can normally be set up without having to discuss it with me in advance. It is however important to open a 3 day courier contract to me with a 3 day expiration. I will normally provide services on a daily basis however, sometimes, RL might need some more attention :) I do, of course, reserve the right to reject contracts set up without consulting me. If you need a more custom made service, you can join the public channel DARK-CROSS to talk to me or eve mail me with more details. IMPORTANT: I would need 4,000m3 cargo space for the fuel I need per jump (two way). Therefore, make sure you deduct the required amount from the maximum cargo space indicated above depending on the number of jumps required. Cost Calculation To see how many jumps it would take a Rhea with all skills at level 4, use the ICSC jump planner. Cynos cannot be opened in high sec so if jumping into empire, you have to choose the first lowsec system bordering your empire destination which has a npc station in. I will strive to limit the number of jumps as much as possible - this would keep your overall costs minimal as well as the effort required from my end. You can also combine low sec / 0.0 sec jumps with high sec routes. In this case, you will have to add the number of jumps (gates) to the low sec / 0.0 jump drives. I will charge 500k isk / (gate) jump in high sec. Please note that I DO NOT provide high sec only services. With this in mind, I am trying to facilitate access to such ships without you not being able to get back the isk which you would otherwise not get back if you bought the ship yourself. Furthermore, with the LOYALTY SCHEME, you will only be expected to provide the full collateral the first time you rent the ship from me. Interested? then read on... The in-game loan contract facility will be used as it provides security to both parties. This is how it works: I'll set up a loan contract according to the terms (duration, collateral and rent) agreed upon. When you accept the contract, you will pay the total rent and the collateral upfront. I will only receive the price (total rent) as the collateral will be kept aside by the system. When you're done, you will have to return the ship into your personal hanger in the same station you picked it up from and complete the contract. At this point, you will receive the collateral back. What is the LOYALTY SCHEME? Simple...while I am sure you're not surprised that a collateral needs to be provided for ships costing billions, this scheme would reward returing and thrustworthy customers by taking into account half of the rent paid to date, as part of the collateral. Once you reutrn a few times, and gain sufficient 'trust', you will be able to use a ship for a collateral much lower than the market value. Furthermore, the rent you pay upfront will be considered as part of the collateral. Freighters available: Charon (920M initial collateral; Rent: 15M / day) Status: Available Rhea (4.5B initial collateral; Rent: 40M / day) Status: Available Pick up / Drop off station: to be agreed upon with customer. Worked example using a Rhea: New customer A rents the JF for 3 days: total amount to pay is 4.5B (initial collateral); customer A thus pays 4.38B collateral and 120M rent. Customer A returns and rents the JF again for 2 days - the total he has to pay now will be 4.5B - (120M/2) = 4.44B; Customer A will now only pay 4.36B collateral and 80M rent (totalling 4.44B). When Customer A comes again for the 3rd time, he will have to pay a maximum of 4.5B - ([120M + 80M]/2). The rent for the 3rd contract will also be deducted from this total sum. As you can see, after just a few days, you will be able to make use of the JF for less than the market value, thus allowing you to have more isk at hand. Furthermore you will always get back your collateral, rather than keeping those billions docked in a hanger. In addition to benefiting from a collateral less than the market value, the Freighters-4-Rent service also facilitates your logistical nightmare as you will receive the freighter right at your doorstep. Some state that if the collateral goes below the market price, the customer would be tempted to sell the Freighter and break the contract. This is a risk, but this system ensures that I will be covered (isk wise) in the longer term. On the other hand, the customer will lose his credibility, and the collateral paid. Notes: 1) We all have a RL outside Eve and if for one reason or another you will not be able to return the freighter before the contract expires, I can assure you that I'm a reasonable person and will await you to contact me to agree on a (reasonable) delivery time. I will however claim the collateral should you either i) fail to deliver it by the agreed alternative time, ii) fail to contact me after the original contract period has expired; iii) other clients incur costs due to the delays caused. 2) Please also make sure that you have the relevant Freighter skills trained. 3) Due to limitations of the contract system, the pick up and drop off stations have to be the same. 4) You will have to provide the fuel for the Jump freighter and cyno pilots.
